Bootstraps Theatre Presents Two One-Act Plays: The Lottery (Brainerd Duffield adapting Shirley Jackson's story) & The Hairy Ape (Eugene O'Neill)
Bootstraps Theatre presents two one-act plays as an introduction to the careers of two new local directors, Kaitlin Fortwengler and Bailey Story. Story tackles Eugene O'Neill's early symbolist work, The Hairy Ape, as it becomes more relevant than ever. Forwengler will handle this adaptation of the popular short story, The Lottery, by Shirley Jackson and adapted by Brainerd Duffield, another piece that feels more relevant today than we might wish.
